Our Parish Primary School caters for 577 pupils aged 3-11. Both Ofsted and the Diocesan Religious Inspectors classed it as outstanding at their last visit in 2007, providing excellent value for money. The strong faith permeating the school’s work and promoting exceptional personal development was praised, the caring atmosphere existing throughout the school was noted, along with the parental support, and how pupils love going to school, and enjoy the outstanding range of activities provided. Provision for different groups of pupils, including those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and those with particular gifts or talents, was judged to be excellent.  

A close and happy relationship with the Parish exists. School, Parish and Home all work together regarding preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, and the occasions when school Masses are celebrated in church are always enjoyed by parishioners. 

The School is also blessed with a very active Parents' Association.
